Donald Baldwin heads Plexus Consulting's
Government Relations Services. He has practiced government relations/public
affairs for twenty years in the nation's capitol. His past clients include
companies in the following industries: forest products, railroads, truck
manufacturers, electric utilities and power companies, banking and financial
interests, education, law enforcement/criminal justice, hospitals, defense
manufacturers, and interests of foreign countries. Baldwin's personal
background includes experience as administrative assistant to Members
of Congress, trade association executive, corporate officer, White House
special assistant, chairman of a Presidential advisory board, and chairman
of a state (Virginia) board of regents.
Donald Baldwin enjoys close, personal relationships with key members of Congress, including the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the House Committee on International Relations; The leadership of the House and Senate, especially the Speaker, Majority Leader, and the key staff of the House and Senate leadership. Donald Baldwin has strong entre with Republicans in the Congress and with the candidates running for the Republican nomination for president. Donald Baldwin has been Assistant to the Chairman of the Republican National Committee, and Co-Honorary National Chairman of the Reagan-Bush, and Bush-Quayle presidential campaigns. He was educated at the Virginia Military Institute and the University of Virginia where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and his graduate degree in History. |
