Dr. Vadakkeveetil’s professional background includes
over twenty-five years of corporate research experience, and twenty
years of undergraduate and graduate/MBA teaching experience. He has
a strong interdisciplinary academic background, and excellent qualitative
and quantitative research skills. Areas of his expertise include research
methodology, marketing research, customer satisfaction analysis, new
product development and positioning, quantitative methods/management
science, data collection and statistical analysis.
He received MA and PhD in Social Sciences with research methodology
as a major concentration from The American University in Washington,
DC. In addition, he has earned training certifications in statistical
research applications from SPSS™. Dr. Vadakkeveetil is an Adjunct
Professor of Marketing Research, Quantitative Methodology, and Statistics
at Johns Hopkins University for the MBA and Master’s in Marketing
programs and teaches statistics at the George Washington University
in Washington, DC. He is also an instructor of these courses at Strayer
University, Virginia. He is a member of many professional associations,
including Market Research Association and District of Columbia Sociological
