He heads Plexus
Consulting's Government Relations Services. He has
practiced government relations/public affairs for
twenty-five years in the nation's capitol. His past
clients include companies in the following industries:
forest products, railroads, truck manufacturers, electric
utilities and power companies, banking and financial
interests, education, law enforcement/criminal justice,
hospitals, defense manufacturers, and interests of
foreign countries. Baldwin's personal background includes
experience as chief of staff of Members of Congress,
trade association executive, corporate officer, White
House special assistant, chairman of a Presidential
advisory board, and chairman of a state (Virginia)
board of regents.
Donald Baldwin enjoys close, personal
relationships with key members of Congress, including
the leadership of the House and Senate. Donald Baldwin
has been Assistant to the Chairman of the Republican
National Committee, and active member of past presidential
campaigns committees. He was educated at the Virginia
Military Institute and the University of Virginia
where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English
and his graduate degree in History.
