Jennifer J. Jones |

Jennifer J. Jones has experience in outreach,
public health communication, and government affairs. Her experience
includes initiating and maintaining stakeholder relationships, conducting
creative mission-critical research, and monitoring federal and state
legislation. As a former federal employee, she has exercised strategic
communication with Congress, state and local governments, media, trade
organizations, and the public. Jennifer has organized national and international
executive speaking engagements, coordinated outreach projects, drafted
case studies, written public statements and news releases, and published
trade magazine articles as part of targeted organizational outreach
efforts.
Jennifer has had the opportunity to meet with congressional representatives to garner organizational support by sharing goals, objectives, and current accomplishments; and has written a hearing statement submitted to the U.S. Congressional Record. She also has government affairs experience commenting on proposed legislation. Jennifer completed the Inside Congress seminar in Executive Education at The Brookings Institution. As the Annual Event Co-Chairperson and Logistics Committee Chairperson for a voluntary health organization, Jennifer assisted in collectively raising thousands of dollars for disease prevention over several years. She has also served as an agency coordinator for charity fundraising in the Combined Federal Campaign. Jennifer has had the opportunity to conduct research sponsored by
the National Institutes of Health, and participate in science programs
sponsored by the Department of Defense and Northwestern University.
Ms. Jones earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and is
pursuing graduate studies specializing in public health communications
in an interculturally-focused program. |
