Wayne Snyder has over 30 years experience
as a commercial real estate executive, 12 years of which were as CEO
for two private management and development firms specializing in the
retail market. His experience includes all elements of management, marketing,
leasing, development and acquisitions involving properties ranging from
small convenience centers to large multi-use urban and suburban facilities
and super regional shopping malls. Wayne began his career leasing a small community lifestyle center in suburban Philadelphia, and gradually expanded his experience to include the complete redevelopment and expansion of the King of Prussia Plaza, one of the nation’s largest and most up-scale shopping destinations. As CEO of Kravco Company, (now Kravco Simon), he oversaw a staff of 400 people that managed and redeveloped properties from Maine to Florida. During his tenure as Kravco CEO, the company managed over 17 million square feet of retail and office space. Before that, he was CEO of Dusco Property Management, a private firm owned by major international and national pension funds. Dusco, which owned 7 regional malls from Rhode Island to Nevada, was later purchased by a group affiliated with the Lend Lease Corporation of Australia. Most recently, Wayne has served as consultant to a variety of clients ranging from major institutional investors such as Morgan Stanley and Northwestern Mutual Life to more entrepreneurial firms such as Lupert Adler or Klaff Realty. Throughout his career, Wayne has achieved superior results by creating supportive and collegial work environments that maximize personal growth and organizational productivity. In addition to consulting, Wayne serves on the board of the National Retail Federation Foundation and the Bryn Mawr College School of Social Work and Social Research Business Advisory Board. He is s licensed Real Estate Broker in Pennsylvania and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Wayne holds a masters degree in political science from Temple University and a bachelor’s degree from Muskingum College. Before entering commercial real estate, he was a social worker, taught school in Mexico and worked with the Ford Foundation in Santiago, Chile. |
