With over eighteen years in event management and communications, Nicole Zuchetto draws her experience from having worked with newsrooms, public relations firms, small businesses, non-profit organizations, and governmental agencies.

Ms. Zuchetto began her career at a Phoenix all-news radio station and then moved to the Washington, D.C. bureau of Cable News Network upon graduating from the Walter Cronkite School of Broadcast Journalism. From there she was tapped to join an international video public relations company in Washington, D.C. She was promoted to the position of National Associate Vice President of Station Relations and Broadcast Research in the company’s New York City headquarters. During this period, Ms. Zuchetto handled event planning for the company’s staff training and retreats, and association convention receptions in Miami and Los Angeles.

A relocation to the country of Panama provided the opportunity to work with the United States Southern Command Public Affairs Office as the Community Relations Director under General Wesley Clark, USA. Ms. Zuchetto was responsible for community relations and command information released through the command newspaper and television station. Her duties included writing weekly news articles, coordinating official ceremonies and commemorations, organizing goodwill tours with U.S. Embassies for stateside U.S. Army National Guard bands to visit Central American countries, and producing a video series on Miami and the surrounding neighborhoods to assist the military and civilian families in the 1997 Command relocation to Miami.

Over the next six years, Ms. Zuchetto served as the Director of Operations and Marketing for the Alexandria Red Cross Waterfront Festival, and the Event Coordinator for The Campagna Center’s Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend. Both events attract tens of thousands of patrons with the Waterfront Festival noted as the largest outdoor fundraising event amongst American Red Cross chapters nationwide. During her tenure, Ms. Zuchetto worked alongside the staff and volunteer leadership to expand participation by patrons and volunteers, and increase profitability. She focused on media partnerships and strong, consistent promotional materials to heighten the marketing impact.
