Plexus Consulting Group announced today that it has been retained by three leading non-profit and governmental organizations to offer strategic planning services:
The Office of Governmental and Public Affairs of the U.S. Coast Guard retained Plexus to "develop and produce a Coast Guard Strategic Communications Plan that coordinates the development, delivery, evaluation and reporting of key Coast Guard communications." The Barker Foundation and AIM have retained Plexus to provide strategic planning assistance. Steven M. Worth, President of Plexus, said: 'We are excited to be working with such a diverse group of clients. While the challenges each face are unique, they all recognize the importance of using the expertise of the Plexus strategic planning team to help guide them into the future. While there are many tasks that an organization can tackle with 'inside' talent, strategic planning is an area where skilled 'outside' practitioners - who have helped others in similar situations - can truly mean the difference between failure and success." The Office of Governmental and Public Affairs of the U. S. Coast Guard was created in November 1998 as a result of a study of Service-wide communications issues. The Office's mission is to build appreciation for the value of the Service by participating in the development of policy and providing the Coast Guard with clear, coordinated and consistent internal and external communication.
