Worth to Serve on ASAE International Task Force |

The president of Plexus Consulting
Group, Steven Worth, has been selected to serve on a task force that has
been formed to review the American Society of Association Executives
Foundation's international outreach/relationship status and to recommend
ways in which the Foundation should move forward internationally.
Worth noted, "I am pleased to have been given this opportunity to develop ideas of ways that nonprofit organizations, and the ASAE Foundation in particular, can become more active and engaged around the world. It has become increasingly clear over the years that there are limitations on what government programs can do to alleviate the problems caused by poverty, armed conflict and disease around the world; but neither can the private, for-profit sector be left entirely alone to address the problems and opportunities of globalization. Clearly there is an opening that invites the more active engagement of nonprofit organizations in the global arena. I look forward to exploring ways where the ASAE Foundation could serve as a trend-setter in this area."
