Washington, D.C. – December 28, 2006 Plexus Consulting Group, through a new affiliation with Cambridge Data Systems, Inc., offers a quick, inexpensive way to organize, identify and manage an unlimited amount of biographical data—a tool through which even the largest associations can insure all the talents and human resources contained within their memberships are used most effectively. “The problem that many associations have is that they are passive when it comes to using their volunteer resources. Using only those who approach the association’s management, often leads to a perception that there is an ‘inner circle’ of privileged members who run things,” said Plexus President Steven Worth. “But the time and effort required to solicit, organize and sort through hundreds or even thousands of resumes is prohibitively expensive. This software program that has been developed by Cambridge Data Systems, Inc is inexpensive, easy to use and allows an association instantaneously to identify the most appropriate person for any given task.” Worth continued, “We first came into contact with Cambridge Data Systems, Inc through the work of our AIMD program (www.aimd.net) where we needed to identify the best talent from among our association participants for specific USAID project tasks that usually operate on short time frames; and doing this all manually was just too time consuming and ineffective.” Cambridge Data Systems’ created and operates the Resume Management
System, which offers the ability to enter fully coded resumes into a
database with minimal effort. This program facilitates information key
word searches of the resume database, the ability to update and make
changes to the individual resumes and easy management of hundreds to
thousands of resumes.
