Washington, D.C. – August 1, 2006 Dr. Paul Duffy – Director of Market Research at Plexus Consulting Group – discussed the “do’s and don’ts” of conducting membership surveys at the Plexus Consulting Group office today as a part of the Plexus Breakfast Series 2006. Dr. Duffy’s event is the fourth of this year’s Plexus Breakfast Series - a sequence of interactive breakfast speaking events hosted by Plexus Consulting Group for leaders of associations. Over a light continental breakfast, Dr. Duffy spoke in detail about survey design and data collection, as well as the considerations that should be given before an association conducts a quantitative survey. After a comprehensive presentation of member surveys and market research in general, Dr. Duffy addressed specific questions from guests. In attendance at this event were leaders from the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, National Women’s Business Center, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and Plexus Consulting Group.
