2006-- Peter Chepucavage – Plexus Consulting Group Corporate
Attorney and Mark Roberts – President of Roberts and Associates discussed
the voluntary application of the Sarbanes/Oxley Act (SOX) to associations.
This was the final event of the summer for the Plexus Breakfast Series
- a sequence of interactive breakfast speaking events hosted by Plexus
Consulting Group for leaders of associations. Mr. Chepucavage and Mr.
Roberts spoke about the Sarbanes/Oxley Act (SOX), its effect on small
companies, compliance with SOX and how SOX applies to non-profits. After
a comprehensive discussion of the Sarbanes/Oxley Act and its application,
Peter Chepucavage and Mark Roberts addressed specific questions from
guests. In attendance at this event were leaders from Merrill Lynch, The Community
Foundation for the National Capital Region, DS3 Data Vaulting and Morgan
