Washington, D.C August 13, 2007 - Steven Worth, President of Plexus Consulting Group, LLC will speak on August 14, 2007 at the ASAE @ the Center for Association Leadership’s annual meeting and exposition. He will be one of three speakers offering his insight into doing business in contemporary China. Mr. Worth along with Brad Weaber, of Experient and Susan Sarfati, of ASAE & the Center for Association Leadership will introduce and lead this discussion. Milton Kotler, President of Kotler Marketing Group will participate via telephone from China. This presentation will explain the basic knowledge necessary for conducting business in China. As well as give advice on how to get started in China. For example, organizations in China have a desire to adopt Western standards and to connect with Western partners, making the country an ideal market for associations. The speakers will emphasize the importance of building trust and will evaluate the characteristics of valued leadership. The presentation will consider different methods to work with or in China, and will highlight the keys to success in conducting business in China. The initial presentation will be used as an introduction to open up into more general conversation. Questions and insights are welcome.
