As a subcontractor to International Development Professionals, Inc., Plexus
Consulting Group designed and conducted a four-day training course for
business association executives on the uses of the Internet. The sessions
were conducted on site in Kiev, Ukraine for 60 business association
executives from throughout Ukraine.
Conducted as part of a USAID-financed program, this course received the highest marks from participants of any that had been conducted to that point in the program. Based on a classic business school case study approach, the Plexus course drew from twelve case studies--taken from the "best practices" case study database Plexus created for the Washington, DC-based Center for Association Leadership--that served to illustrate multiple ways the Internet has been used by associations. The course was designed and taught by a Plexus executive who also serves as an adjunct professor of marketing in the Johns Hopkins University graduate school of business.
